Reparatory Justice
This research develops a manifesto for a new geography of justice—one attentive not only to what justice means in law, but to how it is lived, felt, imagined, and politically mobilized. It asks how communities understand harm, assign responsibility, and articulate demands for repair in the aftermath of mass violence and historical injustice. Moving beyond state-centred legal frameworks, the work foregrounds community-based practices of accountability and the possibilities of structural transformation, including forms of repair that exceed conventional legal remedies.
